The Need for Lawsuit Loans is on the Rise!

June 28, 2009

2009 has seen a new rise for brokers who offer lawsuit loans. My phone is continually ringing! Now, more than ever it is important for you - the plaintiff of a personal injury settlement to weigh your options when trying to get a lawsuit loan.

I have many posts on this subject - how to select the right lawsuit loan broker, but here is the ESPN version:

1. Brokers get paid to get get you the best deal possible or they are not competitive. They also get a commission 5 days after you get your advance, therefore they are motivated to move FAST for you.

2. National companies, or going to direct to a company places you at a disadvantage. They only have one deal for you, Take it or leave it. They bank on the fact that you are desperate and will take their deal. The person at the company doesn’t live solely on commission. They earn an hourly rate no matter how fast you get your money so they operate slower than what you will experience with a broker.

Hope this helps. Since there are so many new plaintiffs, I thought I would post this as it is relevant AND timely.

Please call me right away and ask me the ten questions you should ask me to determine if I am the right broker to help you get your lawsuit loan at 214-628-0920.

Using Craigslist to find people who need lawsuit cash advances. by Rob Thomas

January 10, 2009

Today you will see many options for lawsuit advance/lawsuit cash advance. Used to you would only find this many options for lawsuit funding in the cheap free papers i.e. The Flyer, Pennysaver, Thrifty Nickel, The Greensheet, etc. the ads would read: “In a lawsuit? Injured? Need cash now? Call 123-456-7890″. This is changing month after month. More and more individuals are finding Craigslist to be a good source for settlement funding.

Having a choice is a great thing. Knowing how to select the right person to give you a lawsuit advance is even better. I have written an article on what to ask when selecting a lawsuit funding broker. I do not advocate going directly to a company. Use a broker, their job is to get you the best deal and you usually pay nothing for their service. You can use the article to gain more control over the lawsuit cash advance process.

Thank you Craigslist for connecting lawsuit funding brokers and those needing settlement funding!

You don’t really want a lawsuit cash advance, you want something else!

December 21, 2008

As your broker I am smart enough to know that when you are looking for a lawsuit cash advance or lawsuit funding you are really looking for something else. You are looking for a solution but it goes even deeper. The problem is different for each of you.

Some of you are getting ready to lose your house. Others are getting evicted. I have also dealt with people who want to leverage a higher settlement offer from their defendant. Do you have money for food? Many don’t. The problems are almost without number. The solution is the lawsuit cash advance. But it goes deeper.

By getting lawsuit funding or a lawsuit cash advance you aren’t just looking for the solution. You are looking for what solving the problem does for you. How it makes you feel, what it allows you to do.

When you are considering getting a lawsuit cash advance make sure the broker or settlement funding company understands what you are really trying to do.

How not to be treated by a lawsuit cash advance funder or broker. By Rob Thomas

October 30, 2008

Ok, I gotta say it only because I am hearing this from so many people who call me and tell me how they are being treated in this world we call lawsuit funding.

If you call a lawsuit funding source directly or whether you call a broker to get your lawsuit cash advance and all they do is try and “corral you into an app” by asking you for your name, address, etc. stop them in their tracks and tell them, “You arent getting another question answered by me, as a matter of fact, I have questions for you…..” See my other blog under the “lawsuit cash advance” category on what to ask. It is very important that you know this otherwise, you lack control of the process. Want more control? Know more. That which you don’t know CAN harm you. Whoever it was that said it couldn’t was a moron.

Recently I gained a client thanks to a funding source that starts with a “P” because they lied to them and told them when they called in “we can get 10k on this”. There is no way that “P” would know without looking at documents first. The client hadn’t even given them an aplication yet. But they didn’t know and trusted them. Needless to say they didn’t get my client the 10k (much less actually) and my client is willing to pay a little more in interest to switch to me because I was honest with them.

There is always someone out there who was meant to serve you. Truth trumps everything.

Don’t be the victim. Knowledge equals the opportunity for more control. Now that you know, exert control!

Employment Discrimination Cases, are they fundable?

October 1, 2008

If you have a lawsuit for any of the following case types then provided the funding source likes the case and sees merit in it you can get a lawsuit advance:

If you were sexually harassed
If you were discriminated because you were male or female
If you were religiously discriminated against
If you were discriminated because of a disability
If you were discrimintaed because you are pregnant
If you were racially discriminated

All of those situations providing the liability under the law is clear and the damages (your suffering) was of a decent size, then you can get funded.

What is the REAL value for a plaintiff getting a lawsuit cash advance?

September 13, 2008

I have been a lawsuit cash advance broker for over 4 years now. Year after year I have to take inventory of the value I am giving to someone getting an advance on thier settlement through me. I have recently found I am giving value to the economy by doing what I do.

I have been told by 90% of the plaintiffs I speak with that “they just want it to end”. While I can’t make their lawsuit end faster, I can help them by getting them a lawsuit advance. Here’s how:

1. Their morale goes up and people want to be around them
2. They produce more and start thinking bigger about life again rather than fixating on their personal injury lawsuit
3. They usually can position themselves to get a higher settlement
4. Their BILLS GET PAID (this means other people are positively affected by lawsuit cash advances)
5. Economy doesn’t stagnate, it moves
6. Attorney can get on with it rather than dealing with the fact that his client is in dire starights and do his/her best work for the plaintiff
7. Their stress level drops dramatically

I am still looking for more ways, feel free to share any I didn’t name above.

LAWSUIT CASH ADVANCES ARE FINALLY AVAILABLE IN OHIO!

September 4, 2008

I was assured I would never see the day that Ohio would change their mind on laswuit cash advances.

As of August 28th of 2008 anyone who qualifies for a lawsuit cash advance can now get one. WARNING: With this blessing comes a flurry of TV companies who will offer you lawsuit cash advances. You need to shop around and not take the first offer. Their rates are a little higher because TV ads are very expensive. You should use a resource who can get you the best deal.

Brokers who offer lawsuit cash advances can usually compete and get you lower rates. I definitely can because I am not married to any particular company. However, I have found a company who advances more cash than the others will on the same lawsuit and do it for less interest.

If this interests you click HERE and allow me to go to work for you immediately to get you your lawsuit cash advance.

How long does it take to get a lawsuit settlement advance on my personal injury lawsuit?

August 4, 2008

In a perfect world the intial intake will take 5-10 minutes to explain to you the process of lawsuit cash advances, the two types of pricing structures and answering your questions. The next step is getting the documents from your firm which takes as long as it takes but for me it is usually 24-48 hrs unless your firm didn’t refer you in which case it could take longer.

Once I have the documents that I need from the firm, I give them to the finance company who usually has an answer in 48 hrs. Then I get the contract and send it to your firm for you to go down there and sign along with the attorney who thn sends it back to the finance company. You can receive your advance that day if it is a wire and done before 4pm EST or the next day if it is a physical check.

Which is better, monthly compound interest or a flat fee for my lawsuit advance?

July 21, 2008

Until recently most companies offered one or the other but not both. I offer you both because I know that some of my clients and their attorneys can predict with accuracy when the case will settle. For this situation I would only recommend the monthly compound interest structure. The only other reason i wuld elect to use this structure is if one of my clients is fixated on the monthly rate. In addition to the lawsuit cash advance, the finance company adds a $250 processing fee and a broker commission (if a broker is involved). That all grows at interest.

The flat fee structure is great because there are no fees. Only the amount advanced is growing at interest. While the client has to pay for 6 months interest even though it may have settled in month 13, they still come out ahead because in the finance game it isn’t only the rate that matters. What matters most is the principal or the amount advanced.

If you are seeking a lawsuit loan use a presettlement funding broker so he or she can help you decide which is best for you. The brokers also tpically provide better service than you would get by going direct because their livelihood depends on it.

Aren’t you glad you are free to get a lawsuit loan even though your case hasn’t settled?

July 6, 2008

It is a weekend to be grateful for freedom. I am glad to live in a country where I can rescue people from losing their home, getting evicted, having no electricity, going without food for them or their family, losing their mind because of stress, etc.

I am also glad that you are free to make the decision to get a lawsuit loan if you want to solve the problems above despite what your attorney or anyone else for that matter says.

To Freedom!
